Not for the weak

This is something i haven't been writing about so much on facebook but i feel the need to show all the disqusting pictures and to share the whole story with you.
So on the 19th of november I was going to bed. Joni was in the livingroom on the computer.
My cat's are used to go out from the bedroom window, and just like any other night they wanted to go out. So I went to open the window and two of them jumped outside. Rocco was standing on the radiator beneath the window when he noticed it was pouring rain so he decided not to go out. He turned around and went to jump down from the radiator, when he got stuck from a claw on his back paw. So he was hanging upside down from a claw. The scream was horrible and I can still hear it in my head. It did not even sound like a cat.
The next second's are still a bit blurry to me and I'm getting chills up and down my spine just for thinking about this. The moment he jumped down and got stuck I reached to him with my hand's, planning to lift him up so I can get his claw from the radiator. But the animal instinct of his did not go so well together with my plans.
So the second I touched him, he attacked my left hand. I could see it was purely from the pain and the panic he was in. That's how animals work. He was in pain and I was touching him so he thought I was the one causing the pain.
He was holding on to my arm with his claw's and was biting my fingers. The pain was the worst! He just kept biting and biting and I was screaming like a maniac which scared him even more and triggered him to bite me even more. While all this was happening Joni was still in the livingroom, and he told me that when he first heard me screaming, he got so scared because he thought somebody had come inside the apartment and was doing something to me.. poor thing! :/
So there I was trying to pull the cat from my hand by grabbing him from his neck and pulling him, but it was impossible. I was just screaming and crying like never before (no joke) and hoping to god I would pass out so the pain would stop. It might sound like I'm exaggerating but I really am not.
Joni ran into the room just as I realized that if i get the claw out of the radiator, the cat will let me go. So I looked at the twisted leg and just pulled, and then he ran away (under the bed apparently). Joni told me later that he was there when I did that but I have no memory of it whatsoever. He just told me that I was screaming and crying and he had no idea what to do because he could not see what was happening.
I remember that I was shaking like a leaf and felt something hot running down my leg and that's when I thought "oh crap I have no fingers left". He then took me to the bathroom and put the water on cold and my hand under the running water. I looked quickly at my hand and all I could see was blood and my ring that was on my thumb.. thank god I understood to pull it away! It was a silver ring that now had holes on it! Just think what his teeth did to my fingers.

here it is on the button so you get the idea of how small it got.

I was too scared to look at my hand so I started passing out instead.
Joni called my mom who could not drive at that time. I called to our "911" and the guy there told me he was not going to send an ambulance "for a small scratch that a cat has done" then he told me to "wash it with water and slap on a bandate"..wow...I om so not responsible of the word's that came out of my mouth after that, but I scared Joni away from the bathroom.
Thank god my neighbour Mici was awake and she took us to the hospital.
I had 30 hole's on my thumb. Most of them were through the finger. Two holes on my index-finger, going through the finger, and last but definately not least was my middle finger. My nail was destroyed...I mean it looked like a zombie-finger.
I'm not going to write down every single detail from the hospital, but I will tell you that the surgeon refused to x-ray my hand even though I asked her to. They did not give me anything for the pain, AND she said it will be fine in under a week.
So here's some picture's. None of them are from the night it happened or the nearest days because I was not allowed to open the beautiful package in a few days.

my new accessory

index-finger

middle-finger when it still looked ok.
Weird thing is that it got worse with time

my thumb after 2 weeks
You think the story is over don't you?
Well after 3 weeks of horrific pain I went to the doctors. First thing she did - x-ray's. She called me 2 days later to tell me that the bone in my middle finger was broken...not just a little but actually in two peaces.

it looks like it is dying right?

then it just got worse

and worse. To the point when the flesh was actually starting
to grow ON TOP of the nail!

So after that I've been to the hospital to a hand surgeon 2 times.. first time they just wanted to see how it looks, but ended up taking me to surgery right that moment..they said it looked so bad it could have ended up dead! Second time it was just a chek-up - thank God(Buddha, Allah or whoever).
After the surgery
So now I'm undergoing some physiotherapy to get my fingers to work normally again. My thumb is not working properly and the tip of my middle-finger is totally numb and SO sore.
One week my ass.
